I bought three at the same time: TLC - Crazysexycool, Salt 'n Pepa - Very Necessary, and Green Day - Dookie. And yes, I do still listen to them. Oh, I aged myself.

| Writer's Block: On Character Preferences |
[17 Jul 2008|11:57pm] |
Encyclopedia Brown is my favorite fictional character. He used his wit to solve crimes, many of them perpetuated by the neighborhood bully and other rapscallions. The best part is that you weren't outright told what the solution was; you'd have to either figure it out on your own or look the answers up in the back. On that note, the fictional character that really bugged me was Benny Alden. I mean, why would a little kid tag around his older siblings while they were out solving mysteries? He was whiney and hungry all the time... it really made those stories drag. It was really bothersome that he was also obsessed with his cup that he kept from his experience of living in the box car.
